Role Description The Industrial Automation Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions that support Infomet’s financial control and data-driven services. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying automation opportunities, and configuring tools or workflows to improve efficiency and reliability. The specialist will develop and execute test cases, perform troubleshooting, and ensure quality assurance standards are met for automated systems and integrations. Daily tasks include collaborating with finance and technology teams, documenting automation workflows, monitoring system performance, and proposing improvements that enhance stability and scalability.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Process Automation and Automation skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues, resolve system failures, and optimize automation performance.
Candidates should possess experience with Test Cases and Quality Assurance to validate automation logic, ensure reliability, and maintain documentation.
Relevant experience with industrial automation tools, scripting or low-code platforms, and integration between systems (e.g., ERP, accounting, or data platforms) is beneficial.
A background in engineering, computer science, industrial automation, or a related technical field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage part-time workloads effectively.
Familiarity with financial processes, data pipelines, or business intelligence environments is a plus.
